How to automaticlly post to a blog

I'm looking for something that will automatically make a new post to my blog (using the vBulletin Blog).

Specifically, I would like to get an rss feed from, say slashdot.com, and whenever the 'dc:subject' tag matches a pre-specified string, then automatically copy that rss entry and add a new entry in my blog using that text.

Is there a simple way to do this? At the very least, what is the best way to automatically publish a blog post (assuming I am using an moderator or admin account).

I didnt know this, but I found out that this is possible to do with the forums by adding an RSS feed.
Is the same thing possible for the blogs (or will it be)?
