Hey, I was looking around and couldn't find this at all anyway, so I thought I'd ask.

This could probably be done with groups if I modify the templates but I want to make sure and find a simple group addon to do this with. I want a mod where the administrator can add on a show/gig (for example: February 22nd: Birmingham NIA) for like a band playing at a venue. Members can then add their name saying they will be attending the show and upload images to that show.

Anybody think this could be done with the groups in 3.7 maybe? I am currently running 3.6.8 as I don't want to upgrade until 3.7 is stable and I have alot of templates running.

Are you talking about adding something to the calendar? Or a thread? Why not just a forum with show dates/venues where only the admin can start a thread, but everybody may post? Then you don't need to worry about usergroups (except admin and regular users).
