Censoring profile fields

I'm wondering, if it's possible to make a hook to check profile fields (such as Location, website, occupation) for words that are censored on the board?
I'm trying to find a way to stop members of a rival's forum to stop advertising that board in their profile and such aswell as a way to stop the use of vulguar words in other fields.

No he only wants the staff not to have the info of msn date of birth showing etc.

Oh. The easiest way would be to mark the field as Private. Then only Administrators would see it.
