What I'm thinking here is having some adult type smilies.
And then an adult secondary usergroup. Those in that usergroup can see the smilies in the popup window and it'll parse into the image for them in posts. Those not in the usergroup cannot see the smilies in the popup window and the smilies parse as %%%%%%% for them in posts instead of seeing the actual smilie. |

But IMHO it does not make too much sense if you keep [img] enabled. |

Not too worried about the [img] thing, it's for adult smilies for 18+ people. I'm sure we can police the others well enough ![]() Ahh I see what your saying. It's close to what I want but not quite. I'll have to toy with I think the preg replace. That way those that aren't in a usergroup that can view those smilies just see %%%%% instead of the image. The hack you linked just won't show the smilies in the popup but if they know the replace text it'll still parse for them, so it's close, but not quite. |
