Just a Vbulletin question

I have a forum called "Archive" that only the admin has access too but all the time when I check to see where everyone is viewing it shows a guest in the archive section. I check the ip and it comes back as a "inktomisearch" a bot. I was wondering how do these bots have access to these areas and can it be harmful?
