msn, yahoo, etc.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I am running 3.0.7 and I want to get rid of yahoo, msn, icq type of instant message on my computer. I have had problem's in the past of people spamming my member's like that and even tho I have it set up so that it doesn't show in admin panel, yet when I log in as member only I can still see member's who have added it to their profile.. Is there anyway I can stop that.
