RSS in non java format

I've been searching around trying to find a way to put RSS feeds on my homepage (index.html, not a php page). I don't want just a java script line as I'd rather have the feed in the html (and since search bots tend to not see the java script rss). I downloaded CARP and it just said I had to use java if I wasn't using a php page. Does anyone know a way to put the RSS into the html? Thanks
