Queries Your Running

On average about how many queries are some of you running on your forums? Im new to VB, and Ive installed about 7-8 hacks Id say. Im excecuting about 15 on my forum home page, and about 18 in my forum display. Default is about 12 on a forum display for example, so right there you can see Im up by about 6 extra queries.

There is a small delay when going into a forum as opposed to a default installation I have setup on another sub domain, which executes extermely fast.

I dunno, it almost sounds like all these hacks arnt such a good idea. Sux cuz I wanna install so many more. My forums dont get a whole bunch of activity. Only 2500 reg users, and about 20 online at any given time.
