In practical terms, to save creating an additional line of text, and because usernames are not usually very long, I guess it could go after username.
Rather then have `Go to' or another phrase, I would consider only having it as... Thread Title Username (Forum Name) There are two instances that I use Redirect - when someone posts in the wrong forum, make the redirect, then remove it after a day or two. - when I want a thread to show in two related forums without posting two threads. In this way a redirect serves as a link to notify one forum that a thread has been posted in the other about said topic. This is done in reverse order, ie the Thread is posted in the `notifiy' forum, then immediately moved to the other resident forum as a redirect. Mark |
