I cannot login to admin area or run the installer when i try i get the following error:

Where does the supposed error happen? global.php line 693 error happens on all pages

What vB version are you running? v 3.07 with VBadvanced 1.01

Great hack BTW I had it on my other forum and it was Great! Any ideas are appreciated.. I have double checked the edits to the init.php file and it is correct, I have cleared my cookies and cache but to no avail.

If you have uploaded changed global.php before running the admin ushop installer you recieve this error

Upload the orginal global.php then run /admincp/ushop_install.php and then upload your updated global.php.

Yes, you must run the installer before doing the edits (at least the global.php one) and if you have, then you have not done the includes/init.php edit.
