BBcode Baground color.

I know that the html, code, php and quote tags all use the alt2 class as its background color, I was wondering how would I change the Template code to make the background a different color?
Right now this is what it looks like, and it's hard to see. I've tried without sucess numerous times to change the code.



I posted at vBcom with this question, figured I might try here as well. thanks for any help.
