So, you're posting in a generic vB forum. It's not labeled for vB 2 or 3. Do you always spell out which vB you are talking about or assume we are now speaking in the context of vB 3.x.x?
Or on the other hand assume one or the other when reading and it's not mentioned specifically? I'm curious because I've had to stop and think about it while reading or considering replying to some posts. How about you? |

Vb3. I always assume the most recent version unless otherwise stated.

yes as with most tech talk if you do not state what version it will be the most commonly used or the most recent version. so if you want a specific answer based on your version either fill out the profile field located on this site with your vB version or state it in your post

exactly, i assume it's vb3 and even more mostly the most accurate version so 3.0.3 and soon 3.0.4 (the upgrade isn't done immediatelly)

I can gurantee that most probably won't bother with 3.0.4 since 3.1.0 sounds to be planned for a release within the next couple of months.. I took the lazy way and just patched up my 3.0.3 with the includes/init.php fix.

I have upgraded my testboard to 3.0.4. I haven't even patched the only site that I actually have power to because no one gives a ++++ about it.

I always assume the latest vB and infact I never think about vB2 as I came straight in to a vB3 beta and followed that through from there.
