In this forum here (vb.org) the poster's user info is to the left side of the post, as opposed to being above the post. I'm wondering how I can do that on my forum?

Login to your admin cp, hit on "vBulletin Options" then scroll down to "Style & Language Settings" then from there you can see "Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template" option select No instead of yes. And your that's it.
