Ask your host. IIRC it's the sign of an unclean MySQL shutdown.

Is MySQL running? That error reminds me of when I try to connect to MySQL via console on my Linux server, when the MySQL server isn't started

SQL is running, actually. I got the install.php to run on www.mysite.com/forums/admin/install.php
but when it got to the sql connection, I got that same error. I filled in config.php with the proper database info etc, but still no luck. And to top it off, when I try the other URL (the one i want) http://forums.myforums.net/admin/install.php i get a blank 404 error... O_O....i hate the host.... ARG....my test boards weren't NEARLY as hard -_-! |
