I would like to move the login and password box to the top of my forums. Just under the:

And have the login and password Box here and at the bottom of the page.

I'm not sure how to mod the templates to do this.

I'm not sure but I think the welcome panel hack will do just that. And it looks a lot better. Do a search for it here and check it out.
