I saw that some thread titles from hacks are updated to 2.2.3, one of them is a hack from mine thats listed here.

Therefor i didnt tested the hack on 2.2.3 and it will probably dont work on 2.2.3 since someone with 2.2.3 receives an error.

So why are some thread titles from hacks updated to 2.2.3(latest version that this board runs) and some not?

That thread was not edited by any moderator, so the only way it could become 2.2.3 is because you edited it.

(I'm not saying you're lying, it's just that no one touched it and there is no code to auto-update hack versions)

And there is no ability to edit the version in the hack database.... so... some spook mod or something?

Yup + there is no ability to add a non version/leave empty when you add a new hack (thread)
