For many years I've opted to have the full article length show in the front page of vBulletin 4.2 CMS, but I'm now running a site that I need to have that "Read More" link at the bottom and only show a portion of the article, so that its all uniform and there are no gaps between articles. I've attached a screen shot of what I want to do with my articles. I know its a setting, but for the life of me I cannot find it since I have not used it in years.
![]() Here is what my basic article setup is like: 1. I'm using "Static Page" to create articles. My current settings for an article: Published = yes Comments = off Permission preview = yes Display Title = yes Display Author = no Display Published Date = no Full Display in Section Page = no Display Updated Date = no Display Pageviews = no Show Ratings = no Use Settings For: Content Page & Section Page Show on Section Page = yes Make available for subnav = no Searchable = yes Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. I can provide a link to the site via PM if you need to see the site. Its an adult site. |
