I was doing some work on my board when-whoops!..wrong button...lol
i lost quite a number of user posts now they all want their old post count back... i figure-hey-no problem... ill go into myphpadmin and manually put their old post counts back in- worked like a charm!...SO I THOUGHT............... as soon as i updated counters-they were all low again my question: How do i manually give my users a higher post count without re-losing them when i update counters??? any help much appreciated-tx! |

You can't. When you run Update Counters, vB actually counts their posts to get the updated value. You have to manually adjust the post totals and then leave them alone. Do not Update Counters.
