[Solved] reputation icons

Any help to find where are they? reputation_highpos.png and reputation_pos.png icons

i have changed them before 2 years,

i just put other icons with same name, i want now to change them with gif
Where is code?

it should work to if you rename the files from image.gif to image.png and overwrite them.

Yes, but where is the code to change as now it reads xxxxx.png

Don't change the code, just rename your image is what you are being told.

Who I don't know what I am missing, don't understand.
I have put image gif same name with png and delete png
Results, there is no image to see in that place, actually the symbol X

For any one that want to change the png icons of the standard reputation images (see attach first post) with gif. I searched many days to find the solution


1. Find the file functions_reputation.php (its in includes / functions_reputation.php)
Open with editor and find 'imgext' => '.png', and change to 'imgext' => '.gif',

2. Than in style variable find ImagePaths and in imgdir_reputation
change from:
images/styles/Your skin name/reputation
to:
images/reputation

P.S. Don't forget to upload gif images in folder images/reputation

And why would you go through all that trouble (especially hacking a file!) instead of just converting the gif images into png format, which is a matter of seconds even with a free standard software like irfan view?

Its the opposite Sven, i have png format and want to change to gif.
Code is written to show only png icons.

Then change the gifs to png. That's just as easily done.

No i changed them to gif because I want animated stars
