Email invite

Hello pro's,

I try to make a mod as a widget to send a email with an Invitation (just a link to register) to (not yet) members.

At first I try it with a php-module and totally failed.

Could anybody help me?
It should be work by use the mail_API , or isn't it?

I did a Thread in "Modification Requests/Questions (Unpaid)" but didn't get any help.

I think for you guys it is almost a work of minutes, but for me ...I searched and try at least least 10 hours and stay at the beginning again:erm:

What I want could be almost the same as in quick settings - invite members to this forum.

Is this possible or not? Could anybody show me just the way an I will try to do it by my self?
