Hey,

So I've successfully managed to import a massive SMF forum into vB on a test install.

However the "Last Post" shows "Never" for each board. What would I need to run to get it to see the last post in each board?

Did you follow the actual import instructions?

Where it tells you to run the rebuild threads and forums counters?

Where it tells you to rebuild the search index?

To move users/re-save the forums?

Hey,

I got it.

New problem with Chinese characters - see attached screenshot.

After the post is submitted question marks appear in the text. Any idea what might cause this?

Database is utf. Language setting is set to UTF-8
