First I do not know if this is or would affect other users, I have two VB4 Forums, this is a new build on a vb5 Forum.
1. When I login as Admin, when the page refreshes it does not show me as logged in and I get none of the Admin features (Because apparently I am not logged in) until I click on a tab then it shows me as logged in. 2. I temporarily disabled the Forum as I am in the process of a build and can no longer log in to either the Forum itself (Even though I am the Admin) or directly through the Admin Control Panel. The link that I have found works on vb4, but no 5. This link takes me directly to the Forum Home Page login option, not the admin control panel. Is there a different url to get directly to the Admin panel? Link I am using to go directly to Admin Contol Panel http://www.example.com/forums/admincp/ The issue is not cookie related, not browser related (It does not work in IE, Chrome or Firefox). I have had no previous issues with vb4 or vb5 concerning logins. |

Can you get to the admincp at www.example.com/forums/core/admincp ? In your .htaccess, did you uncomment the RewriteBase line and set it to:
RewriteBase /forums/ |

The example did not work. Regardless of what I do I cannot get into the Forum at all.

I would suggest putting in a ticket and including admin forum login information as well as ftp information.
