301 redirect need help please

Hi

My forums are moved from /forums folder to a root, I will do mod rewrite...in short I need 301 redirect from here, example:

Code:

http://www.mysite.com//forums/showthread.php?33-threadname

To here:

Code:

http://www.mysite.com/threads/33-threadname

Can one write redirect code for this link/s above and I will menage the rest somehow... I really would not like to loose these few indexed pages
