The basics of what I am trying to do is as followed...
What gets me is even If i put the 'allowed to post' group as primary. The 'member of clan' group will still say which forums/thread can be viewed.... Sorry if this is confusing :\ I've already made a post through the vbulletin.com support with no reply for 36 hours :\.. Any help would be great... PLEASE PLEASE SAVE ME BEFORE I BLOW zForces head off with a 12 gage! EDIT : This is what I had posted to vB support.. Quote:

The way vBulletin usually works is, if you have groups A and B (not your scenario!) and B has all permissions but A can only view, then this would be the scenario
Primary A = Can only see stuff Primary B = Can do everything Primary A, Secondary B = Can do everything Primary B, Secondary A = Can do everything It works like this because higher permissions always win, the only thing you have to do is check the forum permissions for those usergroups, if my usergroup B (who can do everything) visit my sub forum "x" and i have set permissions for that forum for that usergroup to only see stuff then my settings win and their permissions do not. Does that make sense?, so maybe your permissions for the usergroup are correct but the permissions per forum per usergroup are not ![]() |

Now I have gone over it like 20 times.. :\ I've even left the forums 100% alone via per forum permission...
So I did ( my scenario ) Only group (C) they can view everything still no post Only group (A) see what I allow and post were I allow.. (all cause I havent touched anything) I had this working a while ago everything went fine... I've noticed something else also.. If I put someone as a 'Administrator' (D) It has to be the primary other wise they don't get admin permissions... --------------- Added [DATE]1328497554[/DATE] at [TIME]1328497554[/TIME] --------------- No one else willing to help me out? |
