Hi,
I'm new to this Vbulletin. the website that has an issue now is www.kurdishweb.net/vb What i have been told is that the domain had updated their server and when I placed a back-up back on the server it lost function. The error i get on the website is vBulletin datastore error caused by one or more of the following: You may have uploaded vBulletin 3.6 files without also running the vBulletin upgrade script. If you have not run the upgrade script, do so now. The datastore cache may have been corrupted. Run Rebuild Bitfields from tools.php, which you can upload from the do_not_upload folder of the vBulletin package. Fatal error: vBulletin datastore cache incomplete or corrupt in /includes/init.php on line 213 I've done a big search on Google and the Vbulletin forum's. I have read somewhere that this might be fixed by Bitfield Cache, with the tools.php file, in the do_not_upload folder. When i access the admincp and use this tool. All i get is this error: Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /customers/2/9/b/kurdishweb.net/httpd.www/vb/includes/functions.php on line 804 Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /customers/2/9/b/kurdishweb.net/httpd.www/vb/includes/functions.php on line 808 ![]() I'm lost, i have no idea how to work this out and I'm very now to this kind of work. Thank you! |

What version of vb are you trying to run, 3.6? When you say they updated their server, what does that mean exactly?
The error messages look like maybe they have updated the server php version. If that's the case then you shoudl update vb to the latest 3.X version, or else if you have to stay with 3.6 you'll have to edit the source files. |

I have the 3.8.6 Patch Level 1 on the server, and the php was updated.
The php version of the server is now on 5.0.51a-24+lenny5-log |

Well, I'm confused. The 3.6.8PL1 source has nothing in functions.php line 804 that should cause that error, and I don't think you should get that error from php version 5.0.51. And I have no idea why you should get a message saying "You may have uploaded vBulletin 3.6 files".
What backup did you restore? |

Check your includes/config.php and make sure all the database info is correct.
