Hey guys, I was wondering if there was a way to, or a MOD, that the owner of the forum (me), could give limited access to other Admins of the forum?
I want to add a couple new Admins but want to limit them to only having access to certain Admin functions (would like to prohibit them from downloading backups, mass emailing, etc.). Anyone know of anything? Thanks for any help! ![]() |

Administrator Permissions, you set these after placing them in the Administrators usergroup.

I suppose you can also create a custom Administrator usergroup. In those settings once the group is created, you have many more choices as options, including limiting mail to member ability. As it is now, unless you changed the default registered user permissions, all of your members can email other members anyhow without being administrators. The bottom line for me on this is an old adage - if you feel for whatever reason you might not be able to trust them, don't give them the keys to the truck! |
