Upgraded to 4.1.5 and had users find the facebook "like" button. This is NOT what we wanted having threads available to FB. (must be an undocumented feature, huh?)
I turned off the like button but wonder if any external connectivity to FB remains? |

Wow can't for the life of me understand why anyone would not want their forum being "liked" via Facebook. It really is a GREAT word of mouth tool.
On the other hand to your question. If you have turned it off I don't think there is any external connectivity unless you have set it up via your admincp |

Some of the topics are sensitive areas that those posting don't want shared.
While our forum in not the biggest we are approaching a million posts and 8000+ members with several new ones a day... so I am more concerned with privacy than advertising on this one... there are those places that this would sparkle! |
