I didn't play with 3.x.x series for a time but try to find the css .alt2, .alt2Active and change it to

.alt2, .alt2Active {
    background: url("/images/styles/WJunction/gradients/altBG.gif") repeat-x scroll left bottom #FEFEFE;
    border-top: 1px solid #C0C0C0;
    color: #64666A;
    width: 50px;
}
