Currently we have a specific forum for members who registered using their PayPal email. I manually verify to make sure it is. So I've disabled "Edit Email" so members cannot edit their own email as that would pose a security risk.
Of course this causes other problems. When a member has to change their email There are members who register a non-PayPal email. Then later when they want access to the "PayPal" forums, I have to go in the admin cp to edit the email for them. And of course this will bypass the Banned Email list. So I'll manually have to check to see if the email was on the Banned List. How can I make sure this is automated? I don't want users posting with a banned email. Otherwise I want to force them to change their email as soon as they login or send a message to me that the email is banned. Or I'd like members to be able to change their own email, but block access to PayPal forums until they've been verified again. So for example right after the email is changed, they're instantly moved into another usergroup "Awaiting verification" Thanks for the help. |
