Mods cannot ban a user, unless they delete the thread first. So what if a user made an inappropriate post in a thread? It just takes too much work for to delete that thread just to ban that user, and then undelete the thread again!
How can mods ban someone without doing anything to the reported post? Also how can mods to be able to edit a profile? In case a user has something inappropriate in the profile. They can log into vbulletin to view, but cannot edit any profiles, including their own. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I have searched and searched but I cannot find the solution. Does anyone know how to allow moderators to ban people (without deleting a thread?) or how to allow moderators to edit user profiles from the mod cp (like the admins can do in the admincp)?
