Hello Guys

Just Wanted to know that why cant i upload more than 2000 images in a folder in ftp??

i tried making new folders and tried to upload in them aswell but it only goes upto 2000 thats all.....

Any clue??please help.....

Maybe the ftp program you're using has some limit of files it can transfer at a time? Have you tried transfering them, say, 1000 at a time?

No i neva tried to transfer like 1000 files at a time.....

i just try 70,80,100 like this....

Just now i tried frm file zilla it transfered succesfully but afta 5 sec the pic just disappeared.....

Oh...so it's not that you tried to transfer 2000 at one time, but that you can't get all 2000 transfered, even if you use different destination directories? In that case I'd guess that you're running out of space on the server file system.

i have got about 10000 images and i can only transfer 2000 in one folder.....yes i tried in a new folder aswell but same to that folder i can only transfer 2000 in that folder aswell.....

and yeah i dont think i am running out of the space coz my space is unlimited

will i have to talk to my hosting company??

I'm sorry, I get it now. I guess I don't know what the problem is, but talking to your hosting company sounds like a good idea.

i have talked to my hosting company they told me its a limit of FTP u need to use SFTP now where do i get that from any idea??
