How can I downgrade my vBulletin from 4.x.x to 3.x.x ??

Hi guys,,
I was upgraded my forum to 4.x.x
but now I want back to version 3.x.x
I did that, but there is some error when downgrading to old version!!
So, what can I do??

The way to go back to version 3.x is to import your database backup and use that.

thank you, I know this way, but i'll loss all threads posted and all members registered after upgrading!
can i copy all data from vb4 to vb3 ??

Do you mean to do a downgrade manually? That is possible but extremly difficult.

If you don''t mind loosing the passwords, permissions and a few other settings then convert to a third forum and then convert back to vb 3x.

I have read a few posts where the downgrade could be possible via the Impex package. You might want to give that a try. Or go to vbfans.com as there I have read they have a dongrade script but it is paid I believe.

Even i can do the downgrade at a much lesser price than 30$. Last month only i downgraded my forum from vb4.0.5 to 3.8.6. If interested let me know
