Not sure if this is in the correct place, mods please feel free to move.
I would like to add a new font to a vB 3.8.4 forum to allow use of a non-roman alphabet but I have no idea how to do this. Text will go left to right as normal so that is not an issue. What I really need is an idiot guide but I would appreciate any help at all. |

Have you justed pasted in some non-roman text and see if it works?
这是中 Otherwise you need to change the database encoding and I've never seen that go easy or well for anyone who has tried. If you mean you need a different language pack they are available at vbulletin.com. |

Thanks for that BirdOPrey5.
I don't want to change the whole forum to a second language, All I want to do is add another font to the drop down font list in the reply to thread / post box. |

Those "fonts" in the drop down box will only work if everyone viewing the forum has that font installed on their computer. Only popular fonts are listed for that reason.
But if you want go to the Admin CP -> Style Manager -> All Style Options and scroll to the very bottom and there is a box for "Available Fonts" |

Thanks for your help. I mistakenly thought the font was part of the vB installation.
