Is this possible please?
I have a spare vbulletin. At the moment i have a vbulletin (Main Site) installed in the root of my server. I want to upload my spare vbulletin as a sub domain folder and run it off the same database. This is a EG: Main forums: "Car Forums" Sub Forum (domain) "Boat Forums". Can i run the second vbulletin Boat Forums as a fresh install using the database details from my main vbulletin "car forums" If so, can members login strait into my sub domain vbulletin forum with same user and password without signing up? Like who ever is a member of my car forums will become a member of my boat forums because i will be using the same database? if not is there another suggestion ideas to do this? thanks. |

It is not possible with default vbulletin, no. However, people have written modifications that share user information between databases/sites.

Search for a mod called "Facades" in vb 3.8 mods... it may be able to help.
