Video Chat with Red5 and Vbulletin integration - what one to use?

I have found several video chat systems that are red5 compatible but I don't know what one to choose. I would like to hear from others who use any of these products? I have Red5 installed and ready to go and we have just a few thousand active members where at tops 100 people would be in chat at any time (Dedicated red5 server on a separate server then the vbulliten system is installed).

I can't find any easy opensource ones with red5 and vbulletin integration and unfortunately we are running flashchat (Paul Marsden) and it's wonderful (everyone including me likes it very much) but it does not have red5 support yet. I don't really want to purchase the very expensive flash media server (FMS) system obviously.

have you taken a look at userplane?

Userplane is mighty expensive and you are very dependant upon them as it runs on their server.

Are you sure it doesn' t work with red5? I think red5 is possible. See this post for example:

Before buying a new chat script, you might want to wait until version 5 is completely working. The developer promised red5 support:

Right now version 5 seems to have many issues, but you should upgrade as soon as possible, because the previous version has security issues. Development on v5 has been very slow, but since the (too early) release it seems to have picked up speed.

We went with flashcoms for now (it works good with red5 but it often stalls when connecting to the red5 server and you need to refresh the page and try again)... I would prefer to use flashchat of course but it looks like it is still very buggy so I will have to wait and see.

To update this we switched to a flash (FMS) server by influxus and ditched the red5 server (All sorts of issues with the Red5). I think if I were to do it again I would skip the video server all together (and avoid flash) and just just to a java/ajax chatroom. Especially with iphone/ipads and such not running flash.
