This has happened due to me upgrading our forum from 4.0.3 to 4.0.5. basically the upgrade didn't go exactly as I had planned (first time doing an upgrade). and it kinda killed my custom template.
I tried to work around and fix the template merging issues the best I could. and everything seems to be fine now, apart from one thing. When you are moderating the forum, like deleting a post. It takes you to the bit where you verify your password to prove the legitimacy of the action. The Log In button doesn't work!! You press, and nothing happens. There's a screenshot to show exactly where this happens. If anybody could point me in the right direction in order to get that fixed it would be totally great! Thanks a lot. |

Do this to find the template you should look at:
To find the template, do this - vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes . Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code. (Sometimes the template is the one mentioned at the very top of the page source.) |

It was threadadmin_authenticate that was causing the problem I think.
Although the template wasn't changed at all (wasn't red), I copied everything in there, and reverted it anyway. Upon reverting it the button still wasn't fixed and now my header is out of sync. I copied the original code back in, the button still doesn't work and the header is still out of sync! Total nightmare! ![]() |
