How do I add a Mini Calendar and Poll to Forum Sidebar

Im still new to Suite but I get the basic ideal of how it works, Ive been using VBA for years. However Im a little confused as to why the forum uses blocks in the sidebar rather then widgets like in the CMS.

So I see how to add a widget in CMS and theres plenty of options but only a few for forums. How do I add a widget into a forum sidebar?

I would like to add the Polls widget and the Calendar. Thanks.... :up:
