Hi There,
Can anyone direct me to any documentation that details how to change the main menu tabs? I want to replace the standard vBulletin ones with something customized. There is a good article on this site which supplies the html and a couple of images https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=200686 I'm ok with most of the instruction but it suggests placing the CSS section of their html document into the Style manger's "additional CSS" box. My problem with this is that in vb 4 it says “This CSS file is obsolete and is available here for reference purposes only”. Also the article mentions that you should enter the new html into the VERY end of the header template. What about the existing buttons, surely you would have to remove any code relating to those? The article makes no mention of that? In vb4 is the header template the correct place to modify the navbar buttons? Hence I am still on the lookout for more info. Thanks, KR |

additional.css is a css template found in with the other templates. The user is NOT talking about anything on the Main CSS page, which is obsolete as you noted.
navtabs are in the navbar template. |

Hi Lynne,
Thanks for that. Looking at this from another angle... Lets just say I wanted to open the navbar up in Dreamweaver so I could work with it more easily. Generally I would need three components to do this, the html page, the image files and the css. Can you recommend what files I should copy across to my local machine so I can manipulate the navbar in Dreamweaver? thanks, KR |

I really don't know. I've never tried using Dreamweaver for vBulletin editing. I just use a text editor to edit html.
