I had 3.8.2 I logged in via ftp uploaded alll the 4.2.2 files and it shows the upgrade screen then i put in password and when i hit next it goes to this

My advice is go up to 3.8.7 and STAY. Until 3.8.8 is released. But then STAY there as well.
