In the stylevars I can change the color of the forumhead_background but there is no option for link or hover link. There is a 'color' option for changing the font color but it doesn't affect the default white for link and default white w/ underlink for hover link.
How do I change them to black? ![]() |

It's in the StyleVars -> Header then you want to change the toplinks_link_color and the toplinks_linkhover_color
This is on my VB 4.0.1 test board where i did this, I'm not 100% sure on if the stylevar was added after vb 4.0.0 or if it was in the first gold release |

That's not it. That changes the color of the header (username, notifications, etc.). I want to change the color of the category names. For example, on the forum home of this site "News and Announcements, vBulletin 4 Discusstion, vBulleting 3 Discussion, etc." are what I want to change. On this site they are default white, but when you hover they become yellow with underline.

Ok, I think that this is the one you mean, it's in StyleVars -> Forum then it's called forumbits_aForum.
From what i can see there is no way of setting a seperate color for hover in the StyleVars system at present, you'd need to add it into a css file to do that. If you want help with doing that then PM me and I'll see what I can do |
