Okay my friends, I've been through every variable numerous times in search of the three items on the attachment. I have read everything including the cheat sheets I've found but am stumped. These 3 variables all happen to show in the attachment but are also scattered throughout the forum as well as shown here. Any help would be appreciated, I'd like to finish my style before installing Gold.

See this - HOW TO Find what Stylevar you need to edit You can probably use firebug to get the class, then do a Search in Templates to find it and see what stylevars are used. (If it is still hard-coded, search the bug tracker to see if it was reported, and if not, report it.)

Thanks Lynn, I tried firebug but apparently I just don't understand the classes well enough to determine what I'm trying to find. I did find the light gray font was a "shade" color so I'm just down to 2 stylevars.

If you click Inspect Element on something, you will see the classes in the right side column. Then you may go Search the Templates for it. For instance, I click on My Messages > Inspect Element and look in the right column for where the background color is defined and see it is in the class "#usercp_nav .blockhead". Now go Search in Templates for that class.

Thanks for the explanation Lynn, I'll give it a try but have a bigger problem since upgrading to the latest version (vBulletin 4.0.0)
When I turn on Bulletin CMS I get this error: Fatal error: Call to a member function query_first() on a non-object in /xxxxxxxx/xxxxxx/xxxxxxx/forums/packages/vbcms/controller/content.php(82) : eval()'d code on line 2 Where do I go to find out what the problem is? There's no 4.0 supprt forum on vbulletin.com yet. ![]() |

If you are running Gold, then there is support on vb.com now. They even have new support forums over there. However, your error is from a plugin. Disable all your plugins/products except the Blog and CMS. And when I say disable them ALL, I mean all the products on the Manage Products page (except the Blog and CMS products) AND all the plugins in the Plugin Manager (except those associated with the Blog and CMS). You must do BOTH (I can't emphasize that enough). Now see if you still have the same problem.

I found the support forums and have contacted support on why I don't have access permissions.
Now the important part - thank you, thank you, thank you. I had disabled the Products but my Plugins are a mess. Thanks Lynn, you're a life-saver. |
