I'd like to be able to save some of my forum discussions into a text file for eventual printing in book form.
Rather than trying to pull the data from the database, is there any easy way of doing this through VBulletin? Any feedback would be appreciated! John |

There is a modification that will allow you to download a thread as a text file. Try a search on "download*" in "all mods" "titles only" and you should find it.

Lynne,
I found it. Problem is that it's thread by thread. My site has thousands of threads. Is there any way of doing it by forum section or groups of threads? Thanks! John |

I do not know of one in particular, no. I do know there is an application that will basically grab all content from a site and you can browse though it then in a kind of archive view. It only works with publicly viewable forums though. And, I can't recall the name of the application that does this.
