I love the idea of prefixes
The way they will be able to sort / grade discussion topics is very exciting I used to hope that the forum moderators would roll up their sleeves and use forum tags to help make sence of everything but I guess and can now see that is just too much work for them to do. (big forum) Of course prefix actually means 'at the beginning'... But the way prefixes are displayed is troublesome, in the following ways. 1) They make thread titles harder to read at a glance 2) They are added to the beginning of the (already short) RSS feed titles So - can anyone suggest some prefix location tricks? Some way to manage them better? While writing this I thought of something that may have answered my own question - what about a mandatory drop down TAG menu with a set group of pre defined TAGs? Anyhow.. I bet some of you VB Whizz'es out there have ideas, I am all ears. Many thanks in advance, |

Maybe create an extra "Thread Prefix" column on Forumdisplay, it would make reading thread titles easier at least. Might be a bit troublesome to implement in practice though.

I am interested in this as well. The original Thread Prefixes add-on placed the prefix in its own column. Is anyone reading this savvy with 3.7.x templates, and could suggest a FORUMDISPLAY edit that would put the prefix in seperate column?

I'm also using prefix now, but since not all prefixes have the same width, the forumdisplay looks messy. So I prefer to have the prefixes in a seperate column. But I have no idea how to do that. Can someone help me with it?
