implement payment script - register.php

I am using vB 3.7.5 and I need to implement a payment script in my forums but I'm not sure how to do it. What I would like is that people see the payment form on register.php, they can then sign up through the payment company and once they have done that they will be able to register on my site (so then they will see what they now see on register.php). I hope that makes sense?

Can someone tell me what the best way would be to have this done?

By the way, I won't be using CCBill or any other payment option that is currently integrated in vBulletin. I will be using another billing company (avs).

Would it for example be possible to add my script on register.php and move the code that is now on register.php to a new page, register2.php for example?
