We do image hunts on our vbulletin site. I was wondering if there was anyway to keep our members from being able to search for urls or the key words from the urls in the search area. We upload our images to an image hosting site and use the bb coding [url] for hyperlinks and [img] to put our images in. We don't want to keep our members from searching in the forums, but we don't want them to find the urls of the hidden images in the forum search. Is there any way to fix the settings or a hack that prevents this? We don't want to do away with the search all together. Our members need to be able to search to not create duplicate threads. But we've been trying to figure out how to keep them from searching for image urls. Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

I think that is the current standard, but the other option is vbulletin search which allows you to enter words you don't want users to be allowed to search on. That is what I was gonna suggest you do if you were using the vbulletin search. I'm not sure what your options are for the Fulltext search engine - you may be able to write a plugin using a hook at the beginning of the search page and if word xxx is in the search array, then remove it or send a message saying "you cannot search on word xxx". I've never really looked into that, but you can look at the page and see if you can do that.
