Is it possible for administrators to use a post icon in a thread for a specific forum and not anyone else?
There only seems to be a global "allow post icons" option. |

You are correct; under native vB, there is no way to set such permissions.
You can install a mod like this one, though. |

Ah, so I can set a specific forum for the post icons to be used in but can't set specific user permissions?
AHHHH (i just thought) - i'll resolve this with my idea for anyone else who might want to know this... The forum I wish to use post icons in will only be for admin to post in. So I shall use that mod you linked to set post icons for that forum - then i can successfully use them! you're a genius :-) |
