I trolled and searched, maybe the answer was there, and I missed it.
I would love to display certain forum statistics on a companion web page. My site... mypetforums Would love a bar along the bottom with stats. number of members, threads and post count. Thanks in advance! |

Any takers yet??
I know there has to be an HTML or script that will direct a view of forum statistics along the bottom of a page parked on another URL.... |

The only way site B can get stats about site A is if site B has access to the database to grab them from there, or if site A offers the stats in another format that site B can grab through javascript (like how you can get threads using the external.php page through javascript).

Hmm well worth looking into. I host all my sites on the same server, am currently planning to do away with "plain Jane" HTML in favor of PHP.
However that requires I learn web site design and editing all over again. (Woo hoo, I love learning) Dynamic pages are so much more interesting than static pages any day! |
