How to make user titles/ranks without making new usergroup

Admin is Usergroup and others are just ranks. I want this feature to differentiate members of the groups I have on the forum but I don't feel like making new usergroups everytime I want a new rank for them because I have to keep editing the usergroup permissions I set in the forums which some groups can't see.

Would it be possible to control by the Admins or Global Moderators? In that mod release, they users can select whatever they want so it's not exactly what I'm looking for. I want the admins to give the rank.
