Gallery hack need help

visit here to see what i have done so far on my gallery hack. so far it changes only one template. I also used the "show attachments on threadbit hack" I found, I think on vb.org.

the threadbit is what was changed, and I am gunna redo it to get it perfect, but I am requesting a little help.

I dont know what im trying to do is called or uses, i think it is javascript, maybe someone can help me.

let me describe what I want to do.

As you can see I have the first attachment show up on the threadbit, I want to make it so when you click the thumbnail on the threadbit, a pop up window (like the one used here) shows the full view of the image, and there is next and back arrows under or above it, so if you hit next it shows the first attached image of the next post, and then the next post every time you click next. and when there is no more next image then either it is greyed out or goes back to the first image. maybe even a < 1 2 3 4 5 > navigation involved too.



I am willing to pay for any coding help, but I would hope someone will help for free. as i am not really in a position to spend money lately, and I will be releasing this hack for free. If you help, you can concider this yourown and do as you please with it. I just want it for myself really.



If someone can at least point me in the right direction I would be greatful.

Ah, you are actually wanting something originally created called a "shadowbox".

Here is what you do,
-First, download and install the shadowbox script.
-Install the snippet of source-code required to be included into your forum header (read the shadowbox readme instructions).
-Once fully installed, add to the style where the images/pages are being displayed "rel="shadbowbox". From here you can issue commands like width, height, etc....

It will automatically setup a gallery (with the numbering) that you mentioned.

thanks a lot, i have classes and i work some 3d art jobs so i will get to this "sometime" this week. well let you know.

if anyone else has something to contribute feel free, this isnt resolved just yet.
