Blocking ignored users posts?

I can't explain this properly sorry. When you put someone on your ignore list it blocks you from seeing their post, but when they HAVE posted, in the thread it says, "This message is hidden because *USERNAME* is on your ignore list." Is there a way to *totally* block this, so that as far as the member is concerned, the person on their block list hasn't posted?
